

Sara Vetteth
Founder
Sara Vetteth is the Founder and the Principal Trustee of the Indian Art And Design Educators Association. She is passionate about bringing Art and Design into schools. She has earned a Masters degree in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design, New York, where she went on to teach undergraduate and graduate classes, and was invited as an artist in residence at the Bauhaus in Germany. Notably, she is the Founder of RainbowFish Studio, an organisation that provides a dynamic Visual Arts curriculum to thousands of students in schools across India. She attended the Harvard Project Zero Institute, to help develop a pedagogical framework for creativity and learning


Janani Krishnan
Conference Coordinator
Janani Krishnan is an HR consultant specializing in change management, Diversity & Inclusion and policy & process excellence. She’s partnered with organisations from setup to maturity stage in the consulting, financial services, and non-profit sector. Her work is focused on promoting gender equality, and setting up people systems and frameworks that enable business goals, build efficiencies and motivate employees. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Development Practice, specialising in addressing sustainable development goals related to social justice and environmental impact of organisations.


Sandhya Gopinath
Co-Founder
Sandhya Gopinath is passionate about teaching teenagers and young adults. High School Visual Arts Educator at an International School, Chennai, she has 11 years of teaching experience in international schools and other art institutions and has, IB, AP and IGCSE accreditations. Sandhya has a Master’s degree from Lasalle College of Art and Design, Singapore and has been the Visual Arts teacher at the American International School Chennai. She has held solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in In India and abroad. Sandhya represented India at the Salon Des Beaux-Arts Lyon (France) 2007 and 2011.

Kriti Sood
Founder of Learning through Arts, Narrative and Discourse,
Knowledge partner, IADEA
Kriti has mentored exhibitions and education programs at various universities across India and the NalandaWay foundation. She designed the visual arts curriculum for the School of Specialised Excellence for the Department of Education. She has also curated programs for Singapore Arts for good foundation, CSMVS – Mumbai, MAP – Bangalore, Filmit project for schools in Kerala that were presented by INTACH India and Helen Hamlyn Foundation London that were presented at Kochi – Muziris Biennale. She is on the committee for Sovereign Asia Art Prize, Hong Kong.


Gayatri Nair
Co-Founder of Chennai Photo Biennale,
Knowledge partner, IADEA
Gayatri’s passion for working with children and education led her to build and grow CPB Prism where she works directly with administrators, teachers, and students to bring visual art learning into curriculums. CPB Prism has spent over 800 hours teaching photography to over 1000+ students since its launch two years ago. Students are taught the basics of digital photography and editing using phones which are more accessible than ever before. The resulting works made by a very diverse student body have been exhibited in the Government Museum, on the Chennai beach, a mall, and other urban spaces.


Gobinath M
Head of Business development and Operations , Rainbowfish Studio
Gobinath has been in the educational field for over a decade. He has a Masters degree in Business Administration from Madras University. He is also a social enthusiast, teaching technology to poor/needy student and believes that technology should be accessible to everyone.


Niranjana Jawahar
Director of Communications
Niranjana is a designer currently working as director of communications across, RainbowFish Studios, Art for play and IADEA. Niranjana has an undergraduate degree in fine art from Central Saint Martins with a focus on functional art. She went on to work at House of Kotwara as a designer under the guidance of Meera Muzaffar Ali.


Kavya Avula
Writer and Project Manager, RainbowFish
Kavya graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a degree in Pastry Arts. After working in commercial kitchens, she handled the digital marketing for a Beverage start up. Kavya enjoys the challenge of coming up with new and interesting approaches to introduce art lessons.


Sheryl Jennifer
Conference coordinator, Customer relations
Sheryl has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Women’s Christian College. She went on to teach students with special needs for 6 years. At IADEA, she is in charge delegate acquisition. She also coordinates their attendance, travel and stay, problem solves and ensures the overall success of the event.
