As an exclusive experience IADEA and Chennai Photo Biennale conducted a virtual guided tour of the Biennales 3rd edition on 24th February 2022. IADEA members also had the unique opportunity to hear from three of the exhibiting artists – Arthur Crestani, Parvathi & Nayantara Nayar.

Arthur Crestani is a Paris-based documentary photographer and artist who primarily investigates human relationships with architecture and urban spaces.

Parvathi Nayar & Nayantara Nayar highlight the effects and consequences of the 1950 Korean War and India’s involvement in the aftermath.

To conclude the workshop our participants got a glimpse of the artistic processes and how the works are being shown as well as its application and ways in which art educators can bring these elements into the classroom.
