To celebrate your exceptional contributions, we are delighted to present Camlin Art Teacher Excellence Awards 2025, a platform to showcase your impactful art lessons and gain recognition on a national level. We invite you to submit your most successful art lesson taught in your classroom and stand a chance to win this prestigious award, bringing pride to yourself and your school!
Who should submit an art lesson for an award?
Any registered participant in our conference – an art teacher who has amazing art lessons that they have successfully taught in their classroom has a chance to take a trophy back to your school.

How do I submit?
Each participant can submit up to 3 art lessons that have been taught in your classroom under appropriate categories, the submission deadline is January 20th, 2025.

What are these awards for?
The Camlin Art Teacher Excellence Awards are a way to celebrate the inventiveness, creativity, and passion for Art Teachers. The Award-winning projects will be shared online for all teachers to use. Award Categories
This year, we will present 10 awards (Winner and Runner-up) across the following 5 categories, reviewed and selected by an independent panel of renowned art experts:
- Innovation in the Art Room:
Celebrating teachers who have introduced unique, forward-thinking ideas into their lessons. These projects may include experimenting with unconventional materials, integrating technology into the creative process, or devising groundbreaking ways to engage students in art. - Best Use of Elements of Art:
Recognizing creative projects that effectively incorporate the fundamental building blocks of art and design. These projects should showcase a strong understanding and use of:- Line: Creating movement, direction, or rhythm.
- Shape: Using geometric or organic forms to build compositions.
- Form: Exploring three-dimensional qualities in both 2D and 3D works.
- Color: Thoughtfully employing hues, tones, contrasts, and harmonies.
- Value: Utilizing light and shadow for depth and emphasis.
- Texture: Creating tactile or visual interest in the artwork.
- Space: Developing perspective, layering, or spatial relationships in compositions.
- Promoting Artistic Process:
Highlighting educators who focus on the journey of creating art rather than just the final product. These projects emphasize ideation, experimentation, and discovery, encouraging students to explore their creativity, take risks, and learn through trial and error. - Collaboration in the Art Room:
Honoring projects that bring students together to foster teamwork and collective creativity. Collaborative projects might involve large-scale murals, group installations, or interdisciplinary initiatives that unite students around a common theme or goal, promoting community and mutual respect. - Instilling Creative Confidence:
Acknowledging initiatives that empower students to embrace their unique artistic voice. These projects inspire students to take risks, trust their instincts, and confidently navigate challenges, helping them build resilience and a strong sense of artistic identity.
